WHEN ARE YOUR WORSHIP SERVICES?
Like most Christian churches, we have a weekly worship gathering on Sunday mornings. Our worship gathering begins at 10:15am. The atmosphere is casual and many people come and spend some time socializing over coffee in our social hall before worship begins.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
We do not have a dress code, and encourage you to dress however feels comfortable for you. Most people dress casually, with many men and women wearing blue jeans and similar attire. If you're more comfortable showing up in your "Sunday best," you're free to do that, but you're just as welcome in a ratty t-shirt.

WHERE DO I PARK?
We have a parking lot located on the west side of the church building, across 200 East. You can also park along the street on 850 South. There are entrances to the building on both the west and south sides of the building; only the west entrance is handicap accessible.

WHAT IS A WORSHIP GATHERING LIKE?
Most people would describe our worship style as "contemporary." Our music team features guitarists, piano, and/or keyboard players. We begin our worship gatherings by worshipping through music, singing a mixture of praise songs and hymns. During the worship gathering, we also have moments for silent prayer, Scripture reading, and giving of offerings. The pastor gives a message, exploring a specific biblical text and making practical application to daily life. He usually speaks for about 20-25 minutes. After the conclusion of the worship gathering, everyone is invited to the social hall to share refreshments and connect with one another. A typical worship gathering lasts about an hour.

WHAT ARE THE SERMONS ABOUT?
Check out the Sermon Series page for more information on the current sermon series and previous series.

DO YOU SERVE COMMUNION?
Communion (also called The Lord's Supper or Eucharist) is an ancient Christian practice that commemorates the sacrifice of Jesus Christ through eating bread and drinking wine or juice (at Aldersgate we use juice) to symbolize the body and blood of Jesus. In the United Methodist tradition, we practice "open communion," which means that all who desire to follow Christ are invited to partake of the communion elements, regardless of church membership or attendance. We share communion on the first Sunday of each month; a typical worship gathering on a Communion Sunday lasts about 75-80 minutes.

WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?
During our worship gatherings, children are invited to our kids' Sunday School, called "Route 252." This program is open to children in the fifth grade and younger, and features a mixture of games and fun activities with biblical teaching. Route 252 begins and ends at the same time as our worship gathering; on the fifth Sunday of the month, we do not have Route 252, but encourage families to attend the worship gathering together. We also have nursery services for little ones two years old and younger.

Check out our Route 252 page for more information.

WHAT ABOUT JUNIOR HIGH AND HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS?
We currently have no Sunday morning activities for junior high or high school students. However, we do have a Youth Group for this age group that meets at the church sanctuary every other Friday at 6:30pm for a time of games, conversation, and Bible study. Currently we mostly have junior high students, but we hope to grow to accommodate high schoolers as well.

Check out our Youth Group page for more information, including the date of our next Friday Night Youth Group!

DO YOU HAVE SUNDAY SCHOOL OR COMMUNITY GROUPS?
We do not currently have a Sunday School for adults, although on September 1 we will begin offering a six-week new members study called A Disciple's Path on Sunday mornings. This study involves working through a workbook five days a week, so you will need to commit for the full six weeks to get the most out of the class.

We do have community groups that meet regularly during the week in different members' homes. These groups are designed to be safe places for fellowship, study, and prayer, where deeper connections can be made than on a typical Sunday morning. Most of our groups meet in Brigham City, although one meets in Perry and another meets in Logan.

If you would like to be connected with a community group or learn more about them, please contact the church office.

WITH WHAT GROUPS, ORGANIZATIONS, OR DENOMINATIONS ARE YOU AFFILIATED?
We are part of the United Methodist Church, a global denomination in the Wesleyan tradition. We are also part of the Northern Utah Ministerial Association (NUMA), an alliance of Christian churches in Box Elder County.
